Sitting here on a beautiful morning.Just got back from the gym and getting ready to start my day.I didn’t know what I would write, but then life is our best muse.
This morning I saw someone at the Gym , who reminded me of a situation we all face ! The situation has to be poised with a question. How far is your true self , from the image you project to the world?
I pause , think and now I can answer that. The image , I present to the world is someone who is sure of themself, class clown and somewhat aloof. The truth is , I am sensitive to others, I care about fairness and their words mean little but the actions of those I associate with mean everything.
I don’t hesitate to call people on their behavior , but I do not blame them either. We are a society full of Sheepeople. I think it goes back to the origin of man. If you look at Psalm 23, it states The Lord is my Shepherd. We as a race have always looked for guidance , control and direction from forces outside of ourselves. We follow the mass appeal. The proof is in the pudding. Look at how we are communicated too, marketed too and we worry about the neighbors opinions.
I think true freedom is living to your moral standards and principals.
So with that people who don’t know me , you can keep your opinions, people who do, base your opinion on our interactions and the rest of the drive by individuals,,, Judge lest not you want to be judged.
What a terrific philosophical discourse! I love it, and can’t wait to read some more!! Keep going, don’t stop!
